Trail is primo right now. Jumps have new lips, log ride is back open with a new entrance, leaf blown, landings buffed.

I'd consider this a double black for sure. May not have as many drops, jumps, n hucks as other trails in the park, but the chute is butthole puckering steep!

Black diamond in my opinion. Chunks pretty bad and gets pretty dang steep but it could be argued. Not enough for a double black though.

I take that back. Once it flattens out and turns into just one giant rock garden it gets pretty brutal.

This is probably the hardest of the 3 DBDs here and the only one that I couldn’t ride everything myself.

The 2 doubles (the creek gap into the step up) should be listed as TTFs right?

Upper drop right after the intersection with red fox is buttery smooth and very fun yet easy to hit

It also intersects with rocky trail East and you can start at Nates rock garden from there

Correction: from the way I worded my comment it sounds like you cut off of rhododendron to ride it. You actually go through wild turkey and keep straight if I remember correctly

Amazing trail especially for someone who wants to get in to riding double blacks for the first time. Several features to enjoy such as the log ride and the gap that follows it. Rock gardens are chunky enough to get you if you’re not careful. Drops are fun and in great shape. The first is about 3 feet and the second can be anywhere from 3 to 7+ feet if you send it very deep. All of these features have user friendly ride arounds of course. The whole skipper is the jump that shoots you off the trail and back onto rhododendron. I haven’t worked up the courage to hit it but you can always just go around or ride through it. Great trail if you want to start riding more difficult trails.

Fun trail featuring an extremely steep chute with a rock drop and a smaller dirt drop followed by 2 log jumps about 3 feet tall leading into rock garden heaven and a few rock drops some small and a few large. If not a very experienced rider I strongly advise not riding the chute as it is pretty high consequence

Very fun trail that’s pretty steep and has tons of cool features! It has an 8 foot rock drop and a creek gap followed by a step up. Can get pretty muddy and wet in some areas

Clear of debris now except for top 1/4 of the whole Shebang (chainsaw needed to clear tree going across trail).

This trail is running buttery smooth, it is in great shape, thanks to the trail builder for making sure this is safe and clear of obstacles. Some leaf cover but real nice for this time of year.

Final feature on the new finish straight on road side trail. You definitely have to work to clear this jump. Doug Arborgast's kid on the guinea pig
