It's a fun trail but sure these days there's better trails up here for sure. This trail has been around for ages though and mountain biking has changed a lot. Still fun, depending where you started your ride it's a nice way to end on your way back.

Incredibly disappointing. For once in my life, I wish I'd read the comment section.

Trail Split Rock
Old school rocky single-track without any notable features. Could use an update.

Big Tree was closed due to logging at the start of trail head. We veered back up and took THe Bumps to Loggers Lane then dripped back into Big tree. Took Roller Coaster back to College parking.

Beware driving up this road, we got locked on the inside when they locked it at 4:30 as opposed to 10p as noted on signage.

Low grade green trail. Don’t go out of your way to ride this, definitely oversold

Highly over-rated.
Sure, there's some fun bits, but like a lot of stuff in the forest, it's over graded too. For a large part of it, it's a wide track with little technicality.
Don't get me wrong, it's fun, and there are some nice blue features. But it's really a green with options and probably not worth a special trip just for this trail.

Roller coast is the BEST trail in the Forest, Flow and speed, some of the top speeds recorded on this trail are in the 60km/hr range. So have some fun, but remember uphill riders always have right of way.
