Gate closed. Guess there’s no way to shuttle these trails from the north slope

Fun trail but steep sections sketchy when wet. Cap needs more blues not blacks.

If your interested in green and blues I recommend checking out the other trail heads in capitol forest. About 45% of capitol forest proper are green and blue rated trails.

This is challenging! If you aren’t comfortable on most black runs, then take this trail slow until you know what’s coming. Lots of very slick, angled, roots. Super fun though, would highly recommend!

Great technical black diamond! In true north slope fashion, this is a legit black with some really tough sections

SLIPPERY WHEN WET! All year round you want to be on a proper DH bike to really ride this. In the winter this rides like a double black. You better be a proper ripper if you expect to stay on your bike all the way down. Lower section is super fun on all bikes and rides like a blue trail.

Trail Scoby
This trail has changed it it 03-28-21 and it it a different trail the second jump after the first chute and berm it's about 2 feet taller and not a table top its like a step up to a flat lading or into a berm. The secondary chute after you cross the road is a legit chuck fest and the trail has more trenches and better flow now then 2 years ago. The drops before the big drop are smaller and packed in better for the fist timers that's will be good news. In all this is for realy my favorite trail in WA it's amazing in the shape its in. With the right bike and the right conditions it's amazing but this trail is no joke when wet it's a coin flip if you won't crash

Rode this for the first time over the weekend and had a blast. Be careful with the drop on that last section after the road, lol. Little sneaky if you're coming in hot. Can't wait to hit this one again!

First time here. My wife rode it really well with her hard tail. She only had to walk a couple features. Overall super fun trail We climbed the OHV trail which was a little tiring but manageable. It was the heat that had us poring sweat.

Amazing trail, although this is my first time here and it rained a lot last week.

It was in phenomenal shape and is one of the best built trails I’ve ever ridden. No clue what other commenters are complaining about. There’s some really steep spots but it’s a freaking downhill trail, what did you expect? No ruts, berms were rippin, lots of medium doubles. Just a fantastic trail.

Needs some work, trail is blown over with lots of loose rock and tree branches. I can see why not many people bother riding this trail out here

It's pretty steep in some places. A really good place for intermediate riders to hone in technical skills. Some flowy features but more just a classic descent with roots and step terrain. Very fun quick loop!
