This is my interpretation of the adjusted/modified course for the 2021 McKenzie River 50k Trail Run based on the hand drawn map provided by the race directors.
Detailed Description
2021 McKenzie River 50k Trail Run is a 30 mile moderately popular intermediate route located near Sisters Oregon. This trail running primary route. This route includes 2 trails. This route climbs 2,591 ft with a max elevation of 4,085 ft then descends -2,298 ft.

Trail Clear Lake
Yes the water really is that blue in the pictures! No edits. Note if your afraid of the black MRT trail on the other side. It’s not black getting here from the north parking lot and I strongly encourage beginners to ride the first 1.4 miles of the MRT (or until lava) to see the amazingly blue “Great Spring” at mile 1.4 of the Mckenzie River Trail and then double back to this trail. (Or loop the lake facing the lava an embarrassing looks if you have to hike like my wife did. It wasn’t to bad for me but she hated the lava parts.)

Trail Clear Lake
This trail is super wide along the south and thinner along the switch back in the north. Super easy going, I think it should be a green. I don’t recall much technical like the crazy lava on the other side of the lake. Lots of hikers on both sides.
