The lower ledge section was totally soaked, with water dripping down. After that, the trail alternated between loamy goodness and some occasional muddy / slick spots.

Alternated between dry and perfect ... and DEEP, nasty mud. Standing water, too. If the trail is in the sun by the field, it's great. In the trees? Nope - watch out for the slop.
