The Red on Black race course tours the Sandmans area in the north western corner of Catamount. The course begins with a lot of wider ski trails before finally finding single track at Balsams onto Cliffs of Insanity. The first climb will be up Newts ridge before quickly turning back down the Rock Ridge. The course will then go out to ride Moose poop and return to finish via Porcupine and Woodstrace.

CADET CUTOFFS will be at Clabber bridge taking Cliffs towards Post Rd, AND at the top of Newts Ridge connecting back to Porcupine

2023 Red on Black Race is a 3 mile moderately popular intermediate race route located near Williston Vermont. This mountain bike primary route. This route includes 7 trails. This route climbs 184 ft with a max elevation of 586 ft then descends -190 ft.
