*The 50 Proof (Amateur Ride Only) includes a Trail 48 option or Moby hill option:

The Trail 48 option is a classic rocky singletrack climb with multiple water bars that have to be negotiated both uphill and downhill. It’s a shorter, steeper, more technical route.

The Moby uphill option is a steep climb as well but the first half follows an old two-track mining road so it’s less technical at the start. It eventually ends up on tight singletrack that rolls its way back toward the top of Trail 48.

Thereafter, each trail will merge and descend the legendary Trail 260

Checking Strava times show that both routes have almost exactly the same KOM times.
If you’re a powerful climber who’s not afraid of technical uphill and downhill then Trail 48 is your best choice. If you’re strong but not as technically savvy then Moby may be a better option.
