The RIDE THE RIVER’S EDGE BIKE RACE is the inaugural gravel bike ride event that starts and finishes in Grand Falls-Windsor. This year’s participants will ride 50 km through scenic country roads, rugged trails, as well as along the province’s T’railway, providing riders with beautiful and scenic views of the famous Exploits River and countryside.

Riders will cross the Exploits River before heading east to Bishop’s Falls along a mixture of gravel road and trails. Once in Bishop’s Falls, riders will again cross the Exploits via the largest trussell bridge in the province, and then head west to Grand Falls-Windsor via the T’railway, completing the 50 km loop.
The start time is 10:00am at the Corduroy Brook Nature Trail. Check-in is at 9:00am. Registration is $50 per person, including taxes and surcharge. Bibs/numbers, race tags, and insurance are provided with online registration.

Following the ride, the newly opened Terrace Pub & Patio will host an after party including live music, a gift mug, and a pint of beer for registrants, as well as door prizes.

Detailed Description
2024 Ride the River’s Egde is a 30 mile intermediate race route located near Grand Falls-Windsor Newfoundland. This gravel bike primary route can be used both directions and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route climbs 1,147 ft with a max elevation of 361 ft then descends -1,135 ft.
