The RIDE THE RIVER’S EDGE BIKE RACE is the inaugural gravel bike ride event that starts and finishes in Grand Falls-Windsor. This year’s participants will ride 50 km through scenic country roads, rugged trails, as well as along the province’s T’railway, providing riders with beautiful and scenic views of the famous Exploits River and countryside.
Riders will cross the Exploits River before heading east to Bishop’s Falls along a mixture of gravel road and trails. Once in Bishop’s Falls, riders will again cross the Exploits via the largest trussell bridge in the province, and then head west to Grand Falls-Windsor via the T’railway, completing the 50 km loop.
The start time is 10:00am at the Corduroy Brook Nature Trail. Check-in is at 9:00am. Registration is $50 per person, including taxes and surcharge. Bibs/numbers, race tags, and insurance are provided with online registration.
