The start of 21 jumps is fun and flowy, the middle has some rideable climbs but the best part of the trail comes when you turn onto the ridge and into schoolhouse for a fun and flow+tech downhill. 21 jumps(upper wilson) section felt short. Locals say the climbs arent bad but as a shuttle I was hoping for more continuous DH. Still very fun! Not sure I would want to do this without the shuttle tho! Also, easy to navigate.

Trail Schoolhouse Ridge
The white knuckle technical downhill at the end of this trail is an absolute blast.

Trail Schoolhouse Ridge
As of June 2020 this trail is so eroded that it’s nearly impossible to ride in some places. It is also pretty overgrown in a few spots.

Trail Schoolhouse Ridge
The heavy rains we had the first part of April 2020 were the final nail in the coffin for this trail. I rode Schoolhouse the week before and was able to stay on my bike most of the way down. After this last big rain event, I walked much of the gulleyed out section - part of which is difficult to maneuver on foot much less ride. Unfortunately, the soil is mostly sand stone in those sections and eroded quickly without the proper trail building techniques this trail never received.

Trail Schoolhouse Ridge
When it starts to pitch down its closer to a double black, perhaps even a pro line in places. Heavily eroded gullies are near impossible to maneuver. Think three times before doing this solo.

Trail Schoolhouse Ridge
Trail is very eroded and gullied out. Hard to fit your pedals through some of the washed out areas since it is so tight.
