I really enjoyed riding this trail. It’s a mixed bag of flowy Forest sections, Moab-y red rock and fun rock gardens. Beautiful area and the constant changes in trail surface is very cool.

The north west downhill is literally the best sustained decent I've ever ridden. Whoever builds and maintains this deserves an award.

Not a bad climb actually. Loose rocks but fully rideable and gets you up quick to high line

Rocky as hell
Not really a mtb trail
Coming down from hiline is brutal
I would not climb up. Ever.
Many line choices
Your bike will take a beating

It's the best trail I've found in the Payson / Mogollon Rim area for mountain biking.
Rode it 6/13/2020 and there was 1 fallen tree across the trail. I think it was about 2.9 miles in if you started from the 260 trailhead.
This great single track trail is one of my favorites. Very fun for intermediate level riders, challenging for beginner level mtn bikers.

Super fun trail in the Mogollon Rim, be prepared for the climb if traveling west to east

I like technical chunk, but this was awful up and down. Avoid. Lose, sharp babyheads. Too chunky for any flow or speed. Brutal on the body.

Rode up Horton, busy with polite hikers, good challenging trail. Turned right, hiked hiked hiked Highline, brutal ups. Eventually back to and down Derricks. Derricks was fun as downhill run. That poor dead cow a little over half way is well past ripe! Avoid that Highline section at all cost or enjoy the hiking!

Great starting climb and finishing descent. rode it as an out and back, to the high point of the climb. Awesome red rock moab-esque session area as well.

Not recommended, either direction. Extremely loose and rocky.

Extremely loose chunky climb that continually cuts through a stream bed. Not worth riding at all up or down. Will not ride again.

Rocky! The elevation profile doesn't lie, it's a solid climb all the way up to the Highline but that means it's all downhill coming back!

This trail is in great shape right now. A lot of trailwork by the VOAZ crew has added even more flow to an already incredible section of the highline.
