Great for the family, 5yo on a 20inch bike, wife on a hard tail and 8month old on my back. 5yo needed towing up but we all LOVED it

Great flowy ride. All dry. Rode with a (confident) 6 and 8 year old and would do it again. Lazy lizard connector leads you right into the campground.

Trail Eric's Trip
Packed full of steeps, flowy berms, drops, step downs (rollable), tables, banks, gaps, you name it. Well maintained, but also very sheltered so it takes a few extra days to dry out. Your trip to fernie isn’t complete without a rip down Eric’s.

Not recommended in winter time as the trail is quite deep with snow. My fat bike stayed above the snow, however, difficult climbs meant getting off the bike and the snow was past my knees.

Trail Lazy Lizard
This might be one of my favourite trails. Solid climb up, beer and burger at Island Lake Lodge at the top, fast and flows descent back down. Loved it!
Dry and wildlife free to the eye, despite a sign for an Aggressive Grizzly Bear on a trail above (Tamarack??).

Great trail! We did it as a downhill, parking one vehicle at the lower island lake lodge parking lot and drove up to the lodge. Stunning views, old growth cedar, whoops, bridges, roots, mud, etc. Had a blast!

Easiest access climb to rest of the trails. Pairwith Eric's for a quickie, or head up Mushroon for more trail greatness.

Great trail --- the first recommendation from the locals for a moderate difficulty but fun ride. It's a steady climb up and a flowy fast descent.

Great ride with kids. 8yo and 11yo and we were up and down in about 40 mins. Nothing to crazy and my daughter says there were approx 26 little bridges.
