Volvemos a pedalear a favor de la MTB PER ELLS PKU, PALAU SOLITA I PLEGAMANS.

En la segunda edición continuaremos sumando para que el proyecto del biosensor sea una realidad.

La PKU es un trastorno del metabolismo causado por el hecho de que el cuerpo no metaboliza adecuadamente un aminoácido, la fenilalanina, por el déficit o ausencia de una enzima llamada fenilalanina hidroxilasa. Como consecuencia, la fenilalanina se acumula y resulta tóxica para el sistema nervioso central, ocasionando daños cerebrales. El desarrollo de este dispositivo se encuentra en la fase de pruebas de la mano de los 2 organismos que llevan a cabo este proyecto conjuntamente: Hospital Sant Joan de Déu y La Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Detailed Description
50km PKU 2022 is a 27 mile intermediate race route located near Mollet Del Vallès. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 21 trails. This route climbs 2,555 ft with a max elevation of 731 ft then descends -2,545 ft.
