This loop has no technical complications. There are no difficult trials, all routing is via wide fire road / access roads, and even some street parts.

Expect the first 40 or 50 km to be just fine.
But overall the rout is demanding and hard, and over the distance the climbs add up.


Subiremos por la riera de la salut, giraremos hacia la cementera y cogemos una carretera no transitada. Durante un par de kilometros la seguiremos (es hacia arribaaaa). Se transformará en pista, seguimos subiendo. Al llegar a una intersección giraremos a la izquierda, pasamos una cadena, y ahora nos preparamos para la ascensión a la primera, a la torre de vigilancia de la Creu d'Olorda. Destacable, un par de rampas fuertes, sin complicaciones técnicas, pero has de apretar. Impresionantes vistas desde el balcón de la Creu.

Bajamos, nos dirigiremos hacia la zona de barbacoas de la Salut (arriba), cogemos carretera de vallvidriera y nos dirigimos hacia esa población. Antes de llegar, giraremos a la derecha, tomaremos una pista de tierra durante unos 3 ó 4 kilómetros. Nos llevará a la siguiente Torre de Vigilancia, la de la Torre Mireia. Tiene una rampa muy dura!. Ánimo, se puede subir, eso sí, apretando y empujando con todo !!!.
Deshacemos camino, y nos dirigiremos hacia el tibidabo para posteriormente voltear hacia sant cugat y volver a subir por la parte de rubí, (el puig madrona).

8 observation towers of Collserola is a 50 mile popular expert route located near Barcelona. This mountain bike only route and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 21 trails. This route climbs 6,883 ft with a max elevation of 1,670 ft then descends -6,892 ft.
