The award-winning 99 Bikes Cycle Epic is a great mountain biking tradition that began in 2002 with a bunch of mates challenging themselves on a 117km epic trail ride. In 2003, the inaugural Australian mountain bike marathon started a new era in the sport.

99 Bikes Epic is a 57 mile intermediate race route located near Ipswich. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 25 trails. This route climbs 7,465 ft with a max elevation of 1,626 ft then descends -7,455 ft.

Dirt on this new climbing trail to 500 Above has mostly compacted now. Great effort in building this trail - say goodbye to that freaking fire road from hell. ;)
