 Great loop that uses the road for a good chunk of the climbing. Super fun sustained downhill.

Trail is OPEN and clear. Bill Zekas' report of it being closed for hunting is inaccurate. The Highlander and Highland Fling and Mellon Connector trails are never closed unless the conditions warrant closure. It could use a raking.
