Caution! The trail takes you through Birse Castle grounds on the road, however access is restricted by a locked gate and a very disgruntled land owner. Rather use the signposted public footpath that circumnavigates the castle grounds.

Trail Oh deer!
Fun, mostly grassy trail. A few section where the trail falls away off camber and the turn doesn't work.
