This is the original route for the 2007 Across the Highlands Challenge.

This is provided for historical purposes but could also be useful for planning bikepacking routes. The majority of the route is on logging roads, some of which are maintained as snowmobile/ATV routes.

Please note there is no guarantee that this route is totally passable.

Detailed Description
Across the Highlands 2007 is a 41 mile moderately popular intermediate unsanctioned route located near Goose Cove Nova Scotia. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a hard overall physical rating. This route climbs 2,859 ft with a max elevation of 1,488 ft then descends -2,878 ft.
