Not sure how the trail rode before, but WOW. What a fantastic flow trail now. Not a boring, wide, table-top littered flow trail either. A really fun, narrow, great turns, different line options, wooden bridges, and a couple difficult features like a skinny rock roll and a decent (super fun) rock drop. Also pedals up great. Congrats to the trail builder, one of the better trails around!

New work from Tom Lepesqueur completely overhauled the trail and added a whole lot of flow and features. Very fast descent now down to the road, nice when combined with S+A

Not a super hard trail, it’s a little challenging going up. Confident and skilled riders will love going down it.

the sentinel rocks aka guide stones are just about the dumbest idea ever, and this trail might be the worst implemation of this concept ever devised.

steep with decreasing radius turns, poor layout. Berm might make it better.

some of the berms are nice but some are misshapened and have decreasing radius with lack of berm on the bottom. Way more fun going down IMO Shredder or Haulapauluzza but still misses the mark.

poorly designed single track, with some features that are legit hard. Best reason to ride this is the features IMO but some of the features have VERY flat landings....look before you leap.

A good climbing trail. Too many speed checks coming down.

Great climb, very well built and engaging for a solid ascent. Would make a good descent for those intermediate riders looking to progress their tight cornering/berm skills, as it doesn't ride all that fast downhill.

Made the "mistake" of riding UP this trail! For a flat-lander from NJ, it was a herculean task...but I made it and was totally stoked!! Turned right around and rolled down...by the end of the downhill my forearms were cramped from holding the grips so tight and working the brake levers non-stop!

Fun trail but many of turns seem a bit tight for letting it rip downhill. You end up checking your speed a lot (as you should as going off trail hazardous in spots).

Amazing forest but the trail doesn't ride very well downhill... just like many Stowe trails, too many speed checks. More designated uphill and downhill would be better, rather than this compromise of boring trails that can be ridden in both directions.

This trail was state-of-the-art back at the turn of the millennia - it still rides great due to well planned trail layout. Riders should be aware there are few berms and instead the flow is dictated by "sentinel" rocks that mark each curve. Stay on your toes to protect your toes from colliding with one of these rocks - derailleurs are also susceptible. When dry - the trail surface rides like it is littered with glass marbles. If you don't have fun - you ain't riding it right!
