Trail Kimmer's
the sentinel rocks aka guide stones are just about the dumbest idea ever, and this trail might be the worst implemation of this concept ever devised.

Trail Kimmer's
Made the "mistake" of riding UP this trail! For a flat-lander from NJ, it was a herculean task...but I made it and was totally stoked!! Turned right around and rolled down...by the end of the downhill my forearms were cramped from holding the grips so tight and working the brake levers non-stop!

Trail Cheddar
Amazing forest but the trail doesn't ride very well downhill... just like many Stowe trails, too many speed checks. More designated uphill and downhill would be better, rather than this compromise of boring trails that can be ridden in both directions.

Trail Kimmer's
This trail was state-of-the-art back at the turn of the millennia - it still rides great due to well planned trail layout. Riders should be aware there are few berms and instead the flow is dictated by "sentinel" rocks that mark each curve. Stay on your toes to protect your toes from colliding with one of these rocks - derailleurs are also susceptible. When dry - the trail surface rides like it is littered with glass marbles. If you don't have fun - you ain't riding it right!

Great way to climb back up to the ridge.
