Great ride and plenty of challenges along the way. Don’t take the Arnett Canyon Spur off shoot. Very overgrown. We started down it but turned back. Your better off just completing the LOST Arnett trail. The last portion is a good climb and worth it for the great downhill decent.

How do you feel about lots of sand? This is a very beautiful trail in the canyon with amazing rock and even some water. However, it is clearly more of a hiking trail than a biking trail with sand everywhere. If you do it, I highly recommend going from east to west so that you are headed in the downhill direction. This will also make it possible to ride a number of stone step areas that were clearly designed for hikers and not bikes.

Had to find new path as bottom section of trail has been washed out by flash floods. Once creek dries up, a new path can be established.
