CCW Loop from the Kelvin trailhead. Roughly half of this loop is on either graded dirt road or backcountry 2-track/jeep road. Bring a GPS & know how to use it!! The back half of the loop is on the Arizona Trail beginning with the super fun, fast Boulders segment. A short bit of powerline riding brings you to a trail that can be tricky to follow in spots due to well developed game trails in the area. Keep an eye out of rock cairns along the way and follow the track. There is some hike-a-bike, nothing too long. The payoff? Ripsey ridgeline. Arguably the best ridgeline in the state. Enjoy the 5 1/2 mile descent back to the start.
