High Point

I created this loop as a semi-epic after hours or Fall weekday ride to enable great XC training climb and finishes with a downhill jump line.

This is a great loop that provides a lot of easy and gradual uphill to start out and get you warmed up. Once you connect up to Cross Mountain the climbing and skills involved increase until you reach the highest point on the Expresso Trail. From there it is a rip roaring descent. My absolute favorite trail in the area is Valhalla, so I chose that as the downhill, but once to the resort, you can choose any downhill trail you want, as they will all put you right back where you started.

Same opinion as hi-dr-nick. The downhill is good but from Snowmass most of the trail feels like climbing forever and it's not a fun climb. I wish I'd rather repeated the Rim trail loop.

Hidden gem of a bike park trail. No one rides it since everyone goes to Vapor, Valhalla, and French Press. However, it has a seriously good flow with tables that you can send or just practice on.

The descent on this trail is good but not really worth the effort of making a big loop out of it. Good adventure ride but just doesn’t have enough reward, even though there are some super fun parts of the descent. Just climb up buttermilk road for a shorter loop.

Flow trails can be black. If you don’t believe me, search ALine in whistler bike park.
Of course this trail doesn’t compare to ALine, but difficulty ratings are according to the area and surrounding trails available.
This is a black flow trail.
I recommend you pre ride as some of the jumps aren’t necessarily built to be hit at the speed at which you can ride the trail. Unless you’re very good at scrubbing.

Yeah this is not a black trail. There are some moderate size tables but it really is a flow trail.
