It takes about 50 minutes to do the loop with a couple stops along the way. I would much rather take this than the trans canada to get to gear jammer. Good ride

Trail SFU-Al Connector
This trail is just some worn grass along the road.

Trail Upper Lower Gearjammer
Windy middle section to Gearjammer. Easy to get speed with big berms and easy tech. More like a hard blue, not really a black trail.

Trail Upper Gearjammer
Flowy upper section to Gearjammer with a few optional drops and some rollers/jumps. All flow and no tech.

I ride this trail all the time! Although it is very easy, it has a few optional lines like skinnies. (only like 1 foot off the ground) there is one roll/ a frame that you can drop. There is a rock on the side of the trail that you can jump. This trail is a great bigginer trail. I would say if you skip all of the optional features, it would be a green. Great trail for an easy warm up.

Trail Upper Gearjammer
Some mud (to be expected) but nice. A fallen tree close to the end of this trail.

Trail Upper Lower Gearjammer
The lower section is still closed. The city of Burnaby does not support or maintain these trails and the BMBA is rarely allowed permission from the city to maintain them. It's sad.

Road this the first time, both ways. Bring your legs and lungs if you want to clean the switch backs.

Leaves are all gone and it's drying up decently after two days of sunshine. Still wet though.

Trail Sidewinder
Loved it! Great for a beginner/intermediate

For the time being to get to lower sidewinder you need to ride a little ways up Gaglardi to a new opening in the trail not shown on the map. (500m or less from the starting point shown.)

This is no longer the case. There's still a sign that says trail closed but you can still bike in.

Trail Jim's Jungle
Super fun trail but can be awkward to access sometimes. It also can get slippery on the lower park of the trail on the wooden features.

Top half is open, but the bottom half still says closed, but no barrier. I didn't ride it but I'm guessing others may have.

Is this trail open? It has been under construction for a while, signs were still up last week...

Trail Lower Sidewinder
The mapping on this is not quite right as it appears the entrance (bottom) to the new sidewinder trail will start about a 100 meters up gaglardi from the entrance to the pipeline trail where nicole's finishes.
