There is no formal maintenance on winter trails. Trails are not guaranteed to be groomed or open. After fresh snow fat bikes are likely your best bet.

This loop includes trails in Hilton Falls. Please consider a Conservation Halton membership.

This is the primary route ridden by the majority of AF aficionados in the winter. This is the most likely route to be ridden in after fresh snow.

The Boundary Trail A

Oct 3, 2021
Hiked through the AF on October 2. Boundary A all features structurally sound. Rocks were a little slippery. The trails are gathering more leaves and small twigs. Cleared out a number of $100 sticks. Next couple of days look damp. So be careful, ride at your own peril, and ride dirt not mud. reporter
