Partenza Piazza S. Francesco
Un primo tratto in asfalto porta alla Chiesa di Santa Croce. Da qui si percorre l'antica strada "julia augusta" - piastrellata con ciottolato di epoca romana e attorniata a tratti di tombe e rovine romane - sino al confine con il comune di Albenga.
Al termine si sale un tratto asfaltato che porta al panoramico e spettacolare sentiero denominato "sentiero dell'onda", uno dei single track più belli e caratteristici di tutta la Liguria.
Quindi un breve tratto di asfalto permette di "buttarsi" in una mulattiera molto tecnica che riporta al punto di partenza.

Alassio - Percorso C1: La Via Julia Augusta is a 10 mile popular intermediate route located near Alassio. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 8 trails. This route climbs 1,965 ft with a max elevation of 1,088 ft then descends -1,969 ft.
