Partenza Piazza Partigiani
Il percorso ricalca il giro della storica Gran Fondo del Muretto di Alassio.
Si percorrono le vie centrali della città e si sale verso i ruderi della chiesa di San Bernardo di fronte al parco avventura "Solleone".
Da qui un anello di circa 10 Km. permette di raggiungere le alture di Laigueglia e tornare al parco avventura.
Quindi si affronta la strada asfaltata in salita, direzione Crocetta - Madonna della Guardia, e si imbocca un sentiero da percorrere fino alla torre di Vegliasco - "torre di Adelasia".
Si alternano poi tratti di asfalto e lunghi sentieri - in alcuni punti molto tecnici - che conducono a picco sul mare ad ammirare l'isola Gallinara ed ampi tratti di costa. Una ultima impegnativa discesa giunge ad Alassio al punto di partenza.

Alassio - Sentiero G1: La gran fondo del muretto 2014 is a 20 mile expert race route located near Alassio. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 17 trails. This route climbs 3,925 ft with a max elevation of 1,707 ft then descends -3,934 ft.
