Idealerweise startet man die Albula Haute Route in Crappa Naira. Hier befindet sich eine Postautohaltestelle, die von Davos oder Lenzerheide gut erreichbar ist. Es geht nun sofort in den Aufstieg, der anfänglich über ein Forststrässchen führt, dann aber immer steiler wird. Nach der Alp Pigni fahren nur noch die ganz kräftigen, andere schieben vereinzelt einige Meter. Unterhalb von Propissi hält man rechts und steuert bei Ruoinas in den ersten Singletrail. Bei der Plaun Crappa Naira gehts nochmals ein Stück hoch, um auf einem nächsten Trail die Alpsiedlung Aclas Dafora zu erreichen. Nun steigt man hoch in Richtung Alp da Creusch, zweigt aber auf halbem Weg rechts auf einen Singletrail ab. Dieser ist anfänglich schmal, wird dann aber immer breiter und spassiger. Bei einem Bach müssen einige Meter geschoben werden, ehe er als Spass-Trail seine Fortsetzung findet. Bei Ragleuna steht eine kurze Schiebepassage an, um später auf einem Singletrail zur Schmittner und zur Wiesner Alp zu gelangen. Nun kommt das Highlight des Tages: die Abfahrt ins Platschtobel und weiter via Bärentritt nach Wiesen Station. Das Singletrail-Feuerwerk nimmt keine Ende, die Route führt nun entlang dem Fluss Landwasser bis zum bekannten Eisenbahnviadukt bei Filisur. Hier nimmt man den Zug zurück nach Davos oder man folgt der Mountainbike-Route nach Tiefencastel und gelangt ab da mit dem Postauto zurück nach Lenzerheide.

Albula Haute Route is a 16 mile moderately popular intermediate route located near Davos Klosters. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 6 trails. This route climbs 5,313 ft with a max elevation of 6,585 ft then descends -4,106 ft.
