Alder Creek Shuttle is a 6 mile popular easy route located near Truckee California. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a easy overall physical rating. This route includes 7 trails. This route climbs 254 ft with a max elevation of 6,785 ft then descends -1,043 ft.

"Unsanctioned" generally means that the trail was constructed without the permission of the landowner (USFS Tahoe Ntl Forest in this case), which is indeed the case with this trail.

I did this as part of a larger loop and ended up climbing it. Descending this trail looked like it would be fantastic, but pretty good as a climb as well.
