Trail Field of Dreams
Great trail, although been a bit over enjoyed and could use a dig day on the berms

Trail 2 Flats
In support of the previous comments... Photos added showing "Lower 2 Flats" is a black diamond trial now. This section has two steep chutes to descend plus a fairly high bridge and should be reclassified on the map. This section is where it should be downhill only.
The rest of 2 Flats is a blue trail and suitable to be ridden either direction (where Trailforks indicates that "97% ride it in reverse").

Trail 2 Flats
this is also a black diamond trail and trailforks has it miscategorized. the marker on the trail is single black diamond. Also agree with previous comments, there is a steep run out at the bottom which is doable for someone comfortable with blues but not for someone just trying blues out.

Great fun trail.... fast!

Absolutely fantastic climb.... who ever says that about a climb!

A really well built climb trail. I would say it is more of a green than blue and kids would have no issue with it. Not technical and only one really steep section. The view at the top makes it even better!

Trail Upper Crafty Butcher
Such a fun trail with lots of fun wood features. All of them can be ridden around except the first bridge which you can walk if needed.

Trail Rapture Genisis
Rapture Bank overgrown, needs brushing. Branches to the face, ferns/salal getting tangled in pedals/spokes and hiding rocks/roots.

Trail Blue Collar Lower
Seriously awesome trail! Flowy, twisty, packed with natural features. Loved it

Trail The Pig
Came back after a year to sadly find the first feature completely destroyed. Shame it had to go as it’s a pretty unique trail that just doesn’t feel worth it anymore

In my opinion this is the best climbing trail in western Canada/USA. I've ridden all over BC, Washington, Oregon, Utah, plus some in Colorado and Peru. This is definitely the nicest climbing trial I've ridden. It climbs gently but with just the right amount of upward progress plus relief from the climb in all the right spots. Nice single track width through the trees. No roots to slow you down. Bravo to the designers and builders. Awesome job!

Much gratitude to everyone who put in the hard work to create this amazing climbing trail.

Trail Space Nugget
My sons and I live in North Van, however we get over to Cumberland Several time per year. The trails here are amazing. There is a nice variety of trails. I know it is a easier trail however Space Nugget is still one of my favourites.

Amazing clim trail, very well thought out!
Side note, you can't use this trail in the route planner as it doesn't connect to the bottom of Broadway. Broadway being dowhill only, the ride planner will not link the FSR to the climb trail through the bottom of Broadway. Hope that make sense.
Cheers!

You will not find a better climbing trail than this. Many switchbacks but well designed to be well bermed and wide on the upper side. The trail has been well designed to either flatten or have a slight incline for riders to catch their breath. Finally, the entire trail has had lots of earth put down so the path is quite smooth, no mean feat in the scrub forest that the trail winds through.

A newly built masterpiece. Amazing climb trail. The gradient is super nice and almost feels like riding a flat trail but yet it still takes you to the top!

Trail Black Hole
Friendly note for those riding Cumberland for the first time and not having done much planning in advance who come up to this trail and figure "hmm, looks good to me -- let's do it." (not that I know anybody like that...)
Primarily a descending trail, though it can be ridden up. Either way, a solid flowy trail

Lots of work has been done on Rapture Log. It is wide and clear of overhanging ferns, etc. Thank you!

Love this trail, it flows well and it has a half pipe sort of section where you wave back and forth through a ravine style area. Not difficult just fun!

Trail Middle 50:1
On July 7, 2017 I lost my Garmin 520 during the BCBR. We climbed up 50:1 to Cabbage Patch. It was on one of the final right hand turns before starting into Cabbage Patch. There was some congestion and I fell left at the turn. There is a downed log right atvthe corner. Unfortunately I didn't notice until we hit the fire road. If found please contact Kevin (403) 585-7740
