Named "Almost" Easy Peasy because the first climb near the Welcome centre is fairly steep near the top. Other than that, it's all easy rolling terrain.
Same as the Canada150 route but with the spur to High Lake look out added.
This route is mainly on wide, groomed, gravel surface Great Trail (Trans Canada Trail) segments, with a return back to the chalet or Welcome Centre on the High Lake Service Trail (also wide gravel path).
Some of the inclines provide a healthy fitness challenge, but there are no technical rocks or roots to get over. You're rewarded with great views of the lakes and forrest vistas, with a small out-and-back spur to a lookout over High Lake.
You can start from the Welcome Centre or the chalet parking lot. The loop will return you back to the Welcome Centre first, then the chalet parking lot.
Great for a family walk, or non-technical group ride. Excellent running route if you're looking for some rolling hills but no technical.
Feel free to explore and make your own route; many will choose to add the Top of The World trail on the return section of the loop. This is a very technical trail for bikes and jogging, and adds nice variety to a hike, with a great cliff- lookout over Falcon Lake.
