Wir beginnen die Tour beim Militärareal (225m) am Ende der Viale Giuseppe Motta in Bellinzona. Zunächst gehts immer der rechten Flussseite entlang (der Fluss wird nicht überquehrt) bis nach Roveredo. Von da an gehts unter dem Blätterdach des Waldes die asphaltierte Alpstrasse nach Monte Laura (1370m) hoch. Es geht weiter bis zum 130 Meter langen Tunnel (1814m) am Corno di Gesero. Am anderen Ende des Tunnels eröffnet sich auf der Alpe di Cadinello eine ganz anderes, wunderschönes Panorama.

Entlang der Fahrstrasse gehts bis zur Alpe di Gesero (1775m). Von da aus fahren wir hinunter bis zur Alpe della Costa. (Wenn sich schlechtes Wetter bemerkbar macht, oder man sich für den bevorstehenden, ruppigen und technischen Downhill nicht fit genug fühlt kann man über das Arbedo-Tal beim Stausee vorbei bis nach Arbedo hinunterfahren)

Bei der Alpe della Costa biegen wir links ab und fahren über den holprigen Fahrweg bis wir Motto d'Arbino erreichen. Nach einer Verschnaufpause gehts nun endlich runter bis zum Motto della Croce (1255m) mit der wunderschönen Aussicht. Nachdem wir nach ein paar kurzen Laufpassagen Monti di Artore (906m) erreicht haben, gehts über die mit Steinplatten befestigte Rüttel-Strecke bis nach Bellinzona hinunter.
