Along the way, enjoy well-stocked aid stations featuring a veritable smorgasbord of your favorite race treats, and some original gourmet surprises. Proceeds from the Alpine Epic will benefit thousands of volunteer hours on the Middle Fork Willamette trails, including the construction of two new bridges on Tire Mountain, a planned 4.5 mile trail extension on Cloverpatch (eliminating a brutal 3.5 gravel road climb), along with routine maintenance and future expansion on the North Fork trail.
