Great route option with a mix of varied terrain\difficulty which will also get you familiar with the many awesome trails available at both Alpine and Rockleigh.

Red trail is a challenging uphill and the blue/white shortly after is even harder. Orange is between both of them for rest on a tricky/technical rocky descent.

Starting location is Ruckman Rd off 9W - limited parking for 4 or 5 vehicles.

Alpine/Rockleigh Scout is a 11 mile moderately popular intermediate route located near Alpine New Jersey. This mountain bike primary route can be used both directions and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 6 trails.
