Alpine to Log and Back is a 6 mile popular intermediate route located near Allentown Pennsylvania. This mountain bike only route and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 14 trails. This route climbs 880 ft with a max elevation of 1,016 ft then descends -883 ft.

Nope. Not a good ride. As a 60 yo advanced beginner we wouldn’t recommend this ride. Carried our bikes a lot. We called this our morning Hike and went to Nock’s for 6 miles more to get 10 miles in for the day.I’d recommend S Mtn for hiking

Climbing up was less than fun. Much better to climb blue and come down yellow IMHO.

Why climb yellow counter clockwise like this? Go straight up blue ride log in the direction suggested. Climb up powerline DESCEND yellow climb up blue to descend blue as shown in suggested route.
