I had a nice day Smile
I recommend using a trail bell, because there are a lot of hikers on the trail at weekends

If you're a strong XC rider: Go for it! If you're gravity oriented and you want to ride a smooth uphill and a great descent: This tour is not for you! Trust me. Technical climbing after Sertig Dörfli and no reward whatsoever. Just grinding on a small, exposed, demanding and technical trail and a ton of hikers We did it today and we won't ever do it again.

Made today, 19.07.2021. Very hard tour, downhill is no flow at 85%, uphill require high ability to ride with stones and roots. Not for all bikers (except riding with ebike). I ride with bike from Davos to Ischalp, then gondola.

After a great start down to Sertig it is more ore less an annoying uphill with a lot of rocks and roots and thousands of hikers, didn‘t make the last few kilometres and went back to Davos from Zügenschlucht. Nice views but all in all disappointing, I wouldn‘t do it again.

Great trail and experience in the alps. Don’t be fooled the trail is hard work but also rewarding. The first section off the top is insanely nice and if you’re not up for a workout then stop there. The rest of the ride is rewarding and is why the trail is called “epic”because you need to earn it. Technical climbs and some fun lines through the woods and along the gorge and river to finish. We got lucky with not so many hikers out as the forecast was for rain.

Alps Epic Fail, it's not that epic.

There are many better options for enduro riders. The first part it's ok, and the last part of the cannyon it's great, but the rest (3h) it's just a plane trail with thousans of roots. The first 30 min it's fine, but after 2h of techical flat terrain it's really boring.
