Der „Alps Epic Trail Davos“ wurde 2014 als neuer IMBA Epic Trail ausgezeichnet. Damit steigt die Strecke vom Jakobshorn nach Filisur in den erlauchten Kreis der besten Mountainbike-Trails der Welt auf.

Als IMBA Epic Trails werden weltweit Mountainbike-Routen ausgezeichnet, welche faszinierende Backcountry-Erfahrungen bieten sowie mehr als 80% Anteil an Singletrails bzw. eine Länge von mindestens 20 Meilen aufweisen.

Kein anderer Trail in der Schweiz wurde bisher als IMBA Epic Trail "geadelt". Der "Alps Epic Trail Davos" gehört dementsprechend dem Kreis der besten Mountainbike-Trails der Welt an.

Detailed Description
Alps Epic Trail Davos IMBA is a highly rated 25 mile popular intermediate route located near Davos. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 6 trails. This route climbs 2,727 ft with a max elevation of 8,402 ft then descends -7,614 ft.
