Only thing that makes this trail suck are the motorcycles. One of the best rides around. Offers tech, flow, climbing and oooh the views of Timp are phenomenal. But seriously, motos have got to go somewhere else.

Sections of hike a bike. Would be better going down towards Timp campground.

This trail could be another wasatch epic if it received some love and was ridden more. Stunning location.

This trail could be one of the best descents in the Wasatch if it got some love. Many sections washed out by recent rains. Rowdy descent from the saddle in a stunning location and quiet area of the Wasatch.

An awesome road with the exception of the the final mile which turns into a dust pit. Great for XC bikes. Gravel bikes will also like this route, just avoid the last mile.

It's a solid down hill, especially the last section (which is the only section considered remotely double black). It's super sandy in the middle but all of it is rideable with some skill.

Lots of dirt bikers, trail is in rough shape in spots, will make you a better techy rider.

I don't think this trail rates a double black rating. It's not a very hard trail to ride, but it does have some decent exposure. Single black would be an accurate depiction of what this trail is.

Incredible going down, predictable giving you plenty of time to pick the best line.
Going up is for masochists.

Difficulty depend on on which way you’re riding it. Going downhill is perfectly rideable, some loose sand and a few drops but nothing which deserves red rating. Difficult blue or one diamond.

I don't understand why this trail is getting so much hate. This is a fun trail. The climbs are not too difficult. There is a good mix of smooth flow and rocky tech.

Super fun on a dirt bike, several exposed sections, a couple of no fall zones. Not as well traveled as other trails in AF. The view at the top is amazing looking into Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons.

Shit show. This used to be a good trail but now it's all big chunky loose and rutty. f*ckin' motorcycles have chewed it to garbage.
Probably this one should live on in memory only.

Easy and fun on a dirtbike! Tight and twisty through the trees so take your time.

I'm going with a thumbs down on this. We took the little deer creek decent from the parking lot. Great trail! The ridge not so much. Lots of big sharp rocks, big roots, lose big rocks. Steep, rough, technical ascent. Not fun for me but if you are an animal you might dig it.

This trail is absolutely brutal, but if your in good shape it is a lot of fun, would recommend going up and then going down little deer creek trail

It’s got great scenery. It is a bit overgrown. Your legs and hands will constantly brush up against plants. Recommend wearing closed gloves if you have them

Again with this old guy above, the ridge trail is super fun! All of the loose sections have ridden lines in them and the root drops are real fun. Stop hating on Moto’s, they do even more trail work than bikers.

The trail would be sooooo much nicer if it were manicured. That's really the only downside of this trail. Beautiful views.

Trails seemed like they were in good condition. After the first steep climb, it didn’t seem like there was too much loose rock.

This used to be a favorite ride for me when I lived close by about 6-10 years ago using the ridge and South Fork Little Deer Creek for a fun loop. Was really disappointed to find out how bad the motorcycles have ripped this section up. The ruts have gotten deeper but the baseball sized rock issue makes me not want to return.

Super fun trail, I wonder if it doesn’t get ridden much bc it’s short? It’s a bit loose a bit techy and a bit flowy, with awesome views. Not really a full on black, but there enough line choices to make it intermediate to lower advanced. To me it’s like the better parts of the crest

Coming down it's a great high country trail, lots of fun and not crazy technical. Coming up, it's a bit of a bear, steep and a couple hike-a-bike sections.

This fire road is very choppy and unpleasant to ride. It does lead to a beautiful meadow and overlook before heading down to the top of G mountain. That was our initial end point but turned around at the meadow/overlook because of the poor conditions.

Pretty fun descent. Just enough tech to make it interesting without being too crazy. Only 1 or 2 tricky spots for upper intermediate riders
