Sencilla y bonita ruta para coronar el techo provincial de Valencia.

Desde el pueblo de Camarena de la sierra y tras unos cuantos kilometros de pista se llega al area recreativa de Matahombres que sera el punto de inicio.

Se comienza del merendero/parking que tiene mesas y un par de fuentes por la pista que va direccion la fuente de la miel que tras casi un par de kilometros se abandona la pista cojiendo un sendero que sale a mano izquierda.

Acabado el pequeño tramo de sendero otra vez en la pista tocara subir por ella hasta el collado el Buei donde girando a la derecha ya se puede divisar la cima a coronar.

La ultima parte de subida se realiza por sendero pedregoso y con inclinacion.

Bonita panoramica desde Alto de las Barracas/Cerro Calderon!

Descendiendo hacia la otra cara se llega al pino del remolque viejo y cerca debe de estar el pino abuelo pero nosotros no lo vimos.
Un expectaculo ver un pino de semenjantes dimensiomes y años!!!

Se continua por pista muy bonita por un bosque de pinos preciosos hasta enlazar con el collado el Buei otra vez y por el camino realizado en la subida pero esta ocasion desaciendolo hasta el area de recreativa Matahombres!!

Alto De Las Barracas/Cerro Calderon 1838m. Techo de Valencia. is a 8 mile less popular intermediate route located near Ademuz. This hike only route can be used both directions and has a easy overall physical rating. This route climbs 1,321 ft with a max elevation of 6,012 ft then descends -1,296 ft.
