Quello che in estate è un giro escursionistico abbastanza semplice, in inverno può diventare (a seconda delle condizioni di neve) un giro per escursionisti esperti
In inverno è caldamente consigliato l'uso dei ramponi e dei bastoncini da trekking. il tratto di roccette tra il lago/diga d'Aviasco e il lago Campelli in inverno è sempre ghiacciato e per superarlo abbisogna di piede fermo e sicurezza
