Nice and various route. Starting from Park Hotel Olimpia, you will discover all the beauties of Alto Oltrepò Pavese through woods, fields, mountains and alpine pastures. In the middle part of the route you will ride the Via del Sale (salt route), that is an ancient route used by shepherds, travelers and traders to go from the Lombardy plain to the sea and back. At that time salt was used as a currency for trading goods. Along this kms, you will discover two open shelters in which you may take a rest. After an easy and funny descent till the valley floor, 7 kms of tarmac have to climbed in order to close the loop and reach the Park Hotel Olimpia.
