Trail Pig Flat
February 2023 and this trail is unrideable. I had to walk a lot of it.
There's a ton of deadfall that hasn't been cleared, and CalFire has piled up a lot of debris for upcoming controlled burns. On top of that the low area is pretty flooded.
It'll probably be awhile before this area is fully ready again.

Trail Two Quarry
I find it funny that everyone calls this a climbing trail. For me this is the best descent in the park. I know everyone has a hard on for South Burma, but I don't find Burma that interesting. It's pretty fast and that's what people like about it, but 2 Quarry downhill can be fast if you are brave enough to let it hang out in the loose rocks. In the winter it becomes a small stream through the loose rocky section, and that makes it even harder.
Give it to me wet and wiggly.

Trail Ridge Trail
After the fires this trail has come back nicely. The stormaggedon of 2023 downed a lot of the dead trees, and the park has cleared a lot of them, but there's still some crossing the trail likely after the last time they cleared it.

9 months out of the year this trail stays an emerald green. There's some flowy pieces, and technical pieces. I wish it was 10 miles long.

State recreation areas:
Except for public roadways, class 2 or 3 e-bikes are not allowed. Class 1 e-bikes may be designated for use only on trails and controlled-access roads that already allow traditional (non-electric) bicycles

Trail North Burma
One of the very best trails in the park (going downhill!) Has some pretty dicey sections if you're passing traffic, be careful.

Trail Lawndale
Some switchbacks, some rocky sections. Lots of sun, decent areas of shade. Fairly popular with hikers, and it's almost all singletrack so be careful. Ran into a few snakes in my visits along this trail, so keep your eyes peeled in the summer. Kind of a difficult blue trail, imo.

Trail North Burma
One of my all time favorite trails. Techniflow at its very best. It will take as much speed as you can throw at it, but a good amount of hikers on weekends in particular, so you’ll have to be aware.

Trail North Burma
North Burma is not a black! It can be cleared be any intermediate rider, in the downhill direction at least. Climbing, for the first 1/3, is a different story.

I can see this being a challenging ride, but it rides a lot of the best routes backwards. I would suggest doing the route in reverse.

I would not call this trail "downhill primarily" - it is a popular climb as well as descent.

It's not a bad thing if you liked RG to start with, but it's rough, and fun.
