This route combines all of Bacon Ridge and Waterworks into one epic ride consisting mostly of singletrack, with a pavement connection between both trail systems. Plenty of climbing, especially in Waterworks, but nothing too technical. We will continue to add to the this route as more trail is built in Anne Arundel County.
Bring plenty of water as there are limited opportunities to fill up along the way. Park at the Northern Bacon Ridge trailhead or the Housley Road Waterworks trailhead.

Not a black imo. No features, not the most off camber trail I've ridden (not even close). This is a blue...

Great riding and clockwise is a winner. Several steep woopdidos got my attention - will make a better attempt next time. With Waterworks it’s a 5.5 mile trail that I equate to the same effort I make on 9 mile rides in Crested Butte, CO. The difference is here it’s up- down, up- down whereas in CO it’s usually ups lasting several miles or half miles and then you flow down plateaus for many miles.

Really great trail! Smooth in some places roots and rocks in others to keep it fun. A few decent climbs and downhills as well. All around great trail.

For sure ride it counterclockwise unless you hate yourself and want a serious climbing challenge.
