Ski Area Access used to be comprised of multiple trails. Now it is broken up in actual trail sections. From Koala Access you take Shop Connector, the steep uphill section (now black compacted asphalt) to Bear Top Road (also compacted black asphalt) to the top of the ski run. Now there are two options, the Ski Area Access road that is a dirt two-track access road, or a section of single track that has a separate name that starts a bit down. The final connectors are getting added in the Bear Valley Resort trail park region. Connection to Elusive is as hard to find as before, doing that trail's name justice.

There is a ton of potential for fun single track, but this is currently all road... some loose and steep. Too bad.

There is a good chunk of single track starting at the top of the ski area. Then, when you do meet the road again, follow your GPS to the Elusive Trail. Together they make a great combo for lots of single track. Even the road out to Hwy 4 from the bottom of Elusive is lots of fun!
