This route is an easy way to park low and avoid the rough sections of FR79 and access the new (2022) trails, HBD, Clyde, and 21st Amendment. There are a few steep bits to climb but in general it is moderate. The downhill of Clyde is not technical, however, one must be comfortable on narrow trails on a steep sidehill.
