Fantastico giro in MTB. Partenza dal bellissimo e caratteristico paese di montagna di Colle Santa Lucia. La salita fino al rifugio Fedare è abbastanza impegnativa, si fanno i primi 26 tornanti della strada che porta al passo Giau. Dal rifugio si può proseguire per la sterrata che porta al rifugio Averau oppure, come ho fatto io, utilizzare la seggiovia anche se molto lenta e vecchia fa risparmiare 300mt di dislivello. La discesa è veramente suggestiva. Si prende prima un sentiero dolomitico, leggermente esposto ma non pericoloso, che porta fino ai pratoni che si percorrono fino a raggiungere il bosco alla base del monte Pore. Da qui inizia un bel sigle track non troppo impegnativo che porta fino alla località Larzonei. Da larzonei si prosegue per single track fino al paesino di Colcuc e quindi a Canazei per tornare a Colle Santa Lucia. Da Colcuc si può anche scendere sulla strada statale per tornare a Colle S.L.

Detailed Description
Averau strada de la vena is a 15 mile popular intermediate route located near caprile. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction. This route includes 4 trails. This route climbs 4,778 ft with a max elevation of 7,933 ft then descends -4,621 ft.

Nice trail with a spectacular view
In the beginning a nice single trail with one blue section, rest is easy and green does fit well. Later it becomes wider and turns into a double track.
