Pisgah Ranger District loop. Start at the Thrift Cove parking lot and make your way up the Avery Creek FR to Club Gap. Ride Buckwheat Knob down and continue on Bennett Gap. Take a short climb up Clawhammer FR to Maxwell Cove FR to reach Middle Black. Continue down Lower Black all the way back to the parking lot.

Avery Buckwheat Bennet Black Loop is a 19 mile popular expert route located near Brevard North Carolina. This mountain bike only route and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 6 trails. This route climbs 3,520 ft with a max elevation of 4,002 ft then descends -3,515 ft.
