Trail Bennett Gap Trail
An actual, legit "black diamond" trail. A few rock hucks at the top that can be super tricky due to trees right after landing so most walk these couple features. After that it opens up and is tons of fun for all skill levels

The 2021 reroute is quite good! It is more approachable than the washed out old trail, but still takes some precision to ride fast. The feel is similar to lower Black with great flow and lots of little kickers, but steeper and tighter and more exposed. Keep off the brakes and it rips!

Trail Maxwell Cove
This is also known as Turkey Creek Road and I believe is FSR 5099 (not 5049)

Trail Bennett Gap Trail
Yet another epic trail in Pisgah. I hope they never allow work or any kind of maintenance on this awesome trail.

Trail Bennett Gap Trail
Started out at the Horse camp and climbed the gravel road up 3 miles to Bennetts Gap Trail head. The trail was perfect I think, just a few muddy sections and wet roots toward bottom. Be warned I almost ran over a huge rattle snake, I stopped to get a pucture and when I neared him(8 feet) he started to get aggressive and csme towards me, crazy. He was super thick and about 5 feet long. If he was just in the leaves you'd never known he was there, he blends in thar welll!

Pucker up for this one if you arent expert. I followed my friend and some sections near the top had me say no way. The middle and bottom are a blast. Be careful. Many people walk their bikes at the top.

Two gnarly sections that you need to look out for. First is pretty early is a switchback turn on a mini boulder. A few minutes after is a technical approach to a decent drop with a tree to navigate immediately after landing. Check these out before hitting them. Other than that, you can ride the rest blind. Such a sick trail!

Trail Bennett Gap Trail
Another classic legit trail, you start out in a meadow and quickly traverse on top of a beutiful ridge through some western style rock gardens those being rock-gardens that you might want to eye out before you send it if it is your first time. I would not recommend doing the drop because you'll hit this tree and unlike a downhill park, you'll be sitting out there for a while as this trail is pretty high up, do not ride alone if it is your first time, the videos online don't explain just how difficult the trail actually is.
