This route has been designed for the Bigfoot Adventure Challenge (bigfootadventurechallenge.com) but is great for anyone looking for a multi surface gravel bike route from downtown Redding.

The route starts in the downtown core of Redding heading out on pavement to the west end of town and the Rattlsnake single track climb to the Top of the World in the Westside Trail System. From there it is a mostly single track decent to paved roads and a gravel trail and the Sacramento River Trail. Next its up the river trail to the FB trail and then a series of single track and dirt road and through a north Redding subdivision to Quartz Hill Road. From there it is mostly pavement to the Sundial Bridge and then back to your start on bike path, gravel road/path and City street to your start. Inspired by those that work downtown and look to the amazing mixed surface Redding road and trail network for an awesome long lunch break from the office.
