Feeling adventurous? This is a longer, back woods route to Upper 7 Day (also, Upper Free Fall). The climb portion involves various logging roads with one short hike-a-bike. Once onto Silver Hammer (Rowbotham Ramble race days) it will feel pretty lonely and rough. Be prepared for anything. But your options for descending are numerours.

Trail Hike a Bike
Very steep and not recommended as the trails at the top can be accessed easier by climbing up upper 7 day. Also bears live up around here so keep a look out

Trail Upper 7 Day
Decent trail but definitely do not take the long way by going up rib tickle, etc... way too long very overgrown and pushing your bike up this trail would be 100x easier

No longer worth heading up, slowly being reclaimed by nature

Trail Upper 7 Day
Pretty good but a long climb up. I would climb up to the second half of it, that is the better half anyway. Good views from the access road, but freefall is a hard pushup. The other way around is WAY too long.

Theres a access road to the left on this that doesnt look like its on trailforks. Its so huge and well maintained that im suprised its not on thw map. Ill update yoy guys after I take it next time and see where it goes. And the last leg up to get to rib tickler is one hell of a grunt, just saying.

Trail Rib Tickle
The fallen trees make it hard to enjoy this trail as much as id liked. I tried the path to the left but that was a dead end. I had to hike my bike through clear cut to get to the access road. We need a chainsaw up there instead of my pruning saw. I aggree with the other dude, it has potential though.

Trail Upper 7 Day
At Rib tickler, there is a fallen tree blocking the main path. Go over it, instead of taking the path to the right. The path to the right goes too two downed trees and then no path. I had to hike my bike through the clear cuts to get to the access road. This tail needs more help than just my pruning saw to be called done.

A small portion of the trail is usable most of the trail is been heavily logged and is active the company is doing a great job of trying to keep the trail open best to leave alone until they are finished. Cheers
