Bonita y dura ruta por el Parque Natural, salimos de Santa Marina por carretera dirección Ronderos, para ir calentando, por que al 1´5 km empezamos la dura y larga subida, algunos tramos a pie por fuerte pendiente que yo personalmente no quería ni podía subir, son 15 Km en los que subiremos casi 1200 m desnivel, siendo los primeros quizás los mas duros. Sobre el km 8´5 tenemos un abrevadero con agua potable. Llegamos a la Veiga, corrales de ganado y se acaba la pista, empieza la subida por senda de vacas, con lo que la dificultad se agrava, así hasta Cueto Pachón donde empezamos la senda de bajada y el disfrute, los paisajes son...impresionantes, estamos a los pies del macizo de Ubiña, Pico Huerto del Diablo, un gigante calizo de paredes casi verticales. Son 5 km de bajada a veces un poco delicada pero muy ciclable hasta llegar a los Garrafes, surgencias de agua en época de lluvia. La ruta inicial sube hacia las Infiestas, pero nosotros ya hemos tenido suficiente y decidimos bajar directamente a por unas botellinas de sidra en el Chigre "El Vikingo" y que Rudy nos cuide un poco el estomago, que eso lo hacen de maravilla.

Barzana-Parque Natural Las Ubiñas is a 18 mile moderately popular red route located near Oviedo. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 3 trails. This route climbs 4,533 ft with a max elevation of 5,462 ft then descends -4,564 ft.
