The 670 Collective Mountain Bike Club is very proud to present the first edition of its very own race, the Battle Creek Showdown The main objective of this event is to raise funds for the trail building operations of the club. 670 Collective builds and maintains sustainable trails in the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park and Redcliff, including the Redcliff Bike Skills Park, designed and being built by 670 Collective.

Start/Finish staging area is at the Educational Centre (Old Interpretation Centre) across the marina. Parking is NE of the start/finish area. Mass start at 10 am. Riders will complete one lap around the start/finish area and head towards the SE end of the Interpretation Centre parking lot and enter a singletrack trail right away onto Ranger Trail heading East, climb Tower Trail then turn right onto new Cobble Miner Trail connecting to Tower Trail just below Lower Mystery Trail, right onto Lower Mystery trail, right onto Upper Mystery Trail and down Beaver Creek Trail. At the bottom of Beaver Creek Trail, turn left onto the Beaver Creek Loop bridge which will bring you to Horseshoe Canyon Trail. Turn left and climb Horseshoe Canyon Trail for a bit and turn right onto Old Baldy Trail and then into Start/Finish area on the paved sidewalk.

There will be one lap around the visitor centre on the paved path before entering the singletrack in order to prevent bottle necking upon entering the North end of the visitor centre parking. Direction is clockwise.

This should be a green trail, not technical at all.wide open.

Good single track climb trail to the towers. An easier alternative to climb is the tower trail but cobbler miner is more engaging.

Great trail for kids. Steep areas and some large routes on the west side. If biking make sure helmets are worn. Hiked and biked it, beautiful landscape and excellent scenery

My kids (9&12) love this climb. Although I think for beginner riders (of any age) it’s more of a blue. Lots of roots and short steep switchbacks increase the difficulty.

Be ready to peddle, well this trail is beautiful as well as needed to get access to my favorite trail in Elkwater which is Mazama Drop....a friend and I think that Misery Trail would be a more fitted name.

Classic XC trail! Great to climb or descend, take this as a connector to some of the other trails. Trail was in great shape. We used this as a climb connector to access other trails.

This is a great trail for more beginner MTBers such as myself. I would take in this trail starting on the Mystery / Lower Mystery before graduating to the ultra fun but way more rooty Beaver Creek Trail!
